History of the Ranch

The farmhouse dates back to the early 1900s, built in what was then a small agricultural pocket of Day Creek. Decades later, a woman who lived here kept simple, handwritten diaries — thoughtful notes about her garden, the changing seasons, and the daily rhythm of caring for the land. Her words remain on the property today, offering the earliest recorded glimpse into life here.

We’re adding a new chapter of our own — slowly introducing cows, bees, and an orchard, and learning as we go. Our hope is to care for the land with intention, using natural materials and a non-toxic approach, while creating a peaceful and beautifully designed ranch experience for modern guests.
